Common Cycling injuries

Cycling has become a popular sport over the past few years. We are taking a look at the most common injuries from cycling and how to prevent them. Contact us if you have incurred any of these injuries.

There are two main phases that a person goes through during cycling: The power or pushing phase and the recovery or pulling phase.
The power phases involves the Gluteus Maximus (initiates movement), the Quadriceps (works from the 3 o'clock position) and the calf muscles.

The recovery phase involves the Tibialis Anterior, the hip flexors and the hamstring.
